SHIPS: Cunard
The Queen Elizabeth

About Cunard
If travel is meant to be savoured, then crossing the oceans should be a majestic experience, not merely a hop across the pond. For travellers of this persuasion, only one name evokes the pleasures of a golden era: Cunard Line. Proudly continuing the tradition of luxury cruising that began in 1840, Cunard now has the world’s youngest fleet with three magnificent Cunard Queens.

About the Queen Elizabeth
Our newest luxury ocean liner, Queen Elizabeth, or QE as she is affectionately known, arrived in October 2010 where she was named in a spectacular ceremony by Her Majesty The Queen. Recalling the rich heritage of the first Cunarder to bear the name, her elegance both echoes that legendary age and enhances her luxurious modern allure.
Queen Elizabeth, our newest Cunarder, joined the fleet in October 2010. She relives, in modern glamour, the high society events of the 1930s and 1940s. Grace ornate rooms whose rich décor recalls the heritage of the first Cunarder to bear her name. Images and features from her predecessors, Queen Elizabeth and QE2, sit comfortably alongside her modern charm.
The Cunard ship Queen Elizabeth strikes an elegant chord between classic and contemporary. There are classic Cunard hallmarks throughout. Memorabilia from her predecessors sit comfortably next to superb modern flourishes.
Impressive public rooms include the three-tier Grand Lobby, the Royal Court Theatre and the Queens Room with its cantilevered balconies. The great traditions of fine service, food and entertainment continue better than ever. Enjoy the facilities of the eight restaurants, two swimming pools, eight bars, a casino, theatres, a cinema, computer and internet access, spa and health club and much more. Take part in the multitude of daily activities that include numerous
lectures on an array of topics, regular musical performances, ship sports and much more. A voyage on Queen Elizabeth is an historic experience to be savoured and remembered!
